As a brand or company, you can use a Public Account to reach your users through Public Chat, private messaging, bots or more.

Public Accounts on Viber are a channel for large brands and companies. This includes celebrities, sports teams and companies, major news outlets, consumer goods brands, public figures, technology brands and finance companies.

The first step to creating a Public Account is to apply from here.
In order to ensure that your application is accepted, please provide:
A valid business email address
A valid website URL and social media link
A phone number with an activated Viber account
Once your application is submitted it will be reviewed by our Public Accounts team. If it is approved, you will receive an email with the link to the Viber Admin Panel, where you will create your Public Account. A new account can only be created through the admin panel.

Step 1: Open a Public Account
1. Follow the link in the email to open your account
2. New users - sign up to an account; Existing users - log in
3. Click on create a new account
Step 2: Fill in the detail
Help users understand more about you, by providing information about your account.
Fill in the information about your account, including its name and an image, URI (your account's unique identifier, it is included in all your account's related links, for e.g. fcbarcelona) and description about your account. Read more about the information you can provide here.
All details that you provide will be displayed for users as follows:
Step 3: Submit
Once all your information is in place, hit create. You now have a Public Account, and you are ready to connect a 1on1 chat to your account.
Step 4: Connect a private messaging channel to your Public Account (Optional)
Provide users with a way to connect with you directly, for example by CRM, helpdesk or live chat, or through a bot.
Connect through the API: Connect your own bot or CRM with the Viber API. Connect using the the token provided on setup.
Connect with a trusted partner: Check out our list of trusted partners, who are on hand to help you find the perfect solution for connecting with users. Once you have chosen a partner you will need to provide them with your token to connect the accounts.
