Message to Gazprombank users on Viber
Some users have reported that they have received fraudulent messages on Viber claiming to be from Grazprombank and other banks.
These messages contain information about payments you may have made on your card, and ask you to provide personal information before you can confirm or cancel this action. See below for an example of a fraudulent message.
Please do not call back or message the phone number on this message.
If you are unsure whether the message is genuine, call the number printed on the back of your card.
Do not give your card details and bank passwords to anyone, even if they tell you they are from the bank's security staff.
Do not give the three-digit code on the back of the card to anyone in a text message, as the request could be from scammers.
Viber has blocked all the numbers we have identified as part of this scam, but if you continue to receive messages like this, please open a ticket and report the numbers to us as soon as you can.
