Update your privacy settings: Location-based services
Accurate location-based services are those that are based in your local area. By giving us access to your device's location, we can make sure that the content you see on the app is relevant to where you are. Some services or partners may require your accurate location and some form of identifier (ad id or other) in order to show you relevant content based on your location. You can opt-out of sharing this by tapping this button on the privacy screen.
For example a search for local restaurants. With accurate location-based services turned on, you will see restaurants in your local neighborhood. With it switched off, you will see restaurants across a wider area, even a whole city.
Please note: Some services only receive your location from us, without any other information that could be used to identify you (for example, your phone number, username or user image). These services will always receive your accurate location.
